Cobra snake found in washing machine terrifies family, safely rescued in northern India
In a startling incident in northern India’s Rajasthan, a 5.5-foot-long cobra was discovered inside a washing machine, terrifying a local family.
The incident took place in Kota city and the video went viral on August 19.
Visuals showed the snake slithering inside the washing machine looking deadly.
According to reports, the incident took place in Swami Vivekanand Nagar, where Shambhu Dayal, a dry cleaner, was at home with his wife and two sons. As Shambhu went to load clothes into the washing machine, he was shocked to find the snake already inside, its hood spread in a threatening display.
Frightened by the sight, Shambhu quickly turned off the washing machine and called for help. Local snake catcher Govind Sharma arrived promptly and managed to safely rescue the cobra, later releasing it back into the wild.
This incident is part of a growing trend in the city, where snakes have been increasingly appearing in residential areas, shops, and even hospitals, causing alarm among residents.
