Clash between security forces and terrorists in northern India amid recent attacks
In the midst of a series of attacks, a fierce encounter is underway between security forces and terrorists in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir.
The incident took place in Doda district’s Gandoh region on June 26.
Visuals showed the valley echoing with the sound of gunshots and constant firing.
According to police officials and reports, the confrontation began on Wednesday morning in the village of Bajad in Gandoh.
The encounter started around 9:50 AM during a comprehensive search and cordon operation conducted by the police, army, and CRPF. This operation was initiated following the twin terrorist attacks in the district on June 11 and 12.
Security forces have intensified their efforts to neutralise the terrorist threat in the area. The ongoing conflict underscores the harsh reality that youth who join terrorist ranks often face death and destruction. Authorities urge young individuals to reconsider the path of terrorism and its devastating consequences.
