Church vandalised in Pakistan; vandals chant “Allah hu Akbar”
In a disturbing incident in Pakistan, a church was vandalized by a group of individuals who reportedly chanted “Allah hu Akbar” while desecrating the religious symbol of Christianity.
The incident went viral on June 17.
Visuals showed several men have climbed onto the church structure itself, where they are shattering down the cross, the symbol of Christianity, while shouting “Allah hu Akbar” in unison. Below them, a crowd of Muslim individuals has gathered, chanting the same phrase fervently.
According to reports a group of unidentified individuals vandalize the church premises. Eyewitnesses described the vandals as chanting “Allah huAkbar” (“God is greatest” in Arabic) as they smashed walls, defaced religious symbols, and broke the cross inside the church.
