In a significant event in Pakistan’s capital, Chinese Prime Minister Li Qiang arrived with a 15-member delegation to participate in the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Summit.

The incident took place in Islamabad city on October 14.

Visuals showed the extensive security measures surrounding Prime Minister Li Qiang, with his motorcade leading through the empty streets, highlighting the absence of public presence. The high-level security included a convoy of vehicles, ensuring a protected passage for the Chinese Premier.

According to reports, this marked the first visit by a Chinese premier to Pakistan in 11 years, with Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif welcoming Li at the airport. The government declared a three-day public holiday in Islamabad, leading to the closure of schools and businesses. Large contingents of police and paramilitary forces were deployed throughout the city to ensure safety during the high-profile visit.
