A pillion rider died after the two-wheeler she was riding on collided with a bullock cart in southern India’s Tamil Nadu.

This incident happened in Thondamuthur, Coimbatore district on May 21.

CCTV footage showed the chilling moment when the collision took place. The two-wheeler rammed straight into the bullock cart after heading towards it from the opposite direction. The collision saw the two-wheeler get flung to the side of the road. The bullock cart left the spot after the accident. The police were informed about this by the bystanders.

According to a report, the vehicle was being driven by a 32-year-old named N Prakash with his wife P Bhuvaneshwari, 25, behind. Bhuvaneshwari was injured in this accident and was declared dead when taken to the hospital. The Thondamuthur Police Department, on the basis of CCTV footage, registered a case against the ones who were driving the cart.
