Chilling moment truck crushes biker, pillion rider on road in southern India
by Surya PrakashIn a shocking development, a truck crushed a biker and a pillion rider while taking a turn on a road in southern India’s Karnataka.
This incident happened on the Ambagilu-Udupi main road in Udupi district of the state on April 19.
Visuals showed the truck run over the biker as it took a turn on the road. The truck collided with the two-wheeler first before crushing the vehicle and both riders underneath its wheels. The vehicle stopped after running over the bike and people slowly started to gather at the spot. The driver of the truck came down to check on the victims as well. According to a report, the biker, identified as Prabhakar Achari, a native of Matpady in Brahmavara, was killed in this accident. The pillion rider on the other hand, was injured in this attack and was rushed to the Manipal hospital for treatment. It was also learnt that the bike was headed towards Ambagilu main road from Perampally.
