The incident took place at Dumas road in Piplod area of Surat district on May 13.

Visuals showed the car driving close to the road’s edge before it suddenly swerves and collides with the iron railing that separates the bus lane from the rest of the traffic. The car breaks through the railing and comes to an abrupt stop.

Within seconds, a crowd of people rush to the scene and gather around the vehicle to check on the driver. They open the car’s door to assist her. After a moment, she slowly exits the vehicle and stands beside it.

According to the report, she appears to be uninjured, police report that she suffered minor injuries as the car’s airbag had deployed. Police also mentioned that strong winds and low visibility at the time of the accident may have caused the woman to ram the railing. Police added, the car was registered to Kalpana from Gaurav Path.
