A chilling moment was recorded in CCTV footage of a man, the husband of a village chief being shot dead in northern India’s Bihar.
This incident is said to have happened at Saraiyan Bazaar, in the Kishangarh police station on the Ara-Sinha road in Bhojpur district on May 14.
CCTV footage captured the chilling moment when the man, identified as Munna Yadav on his bike, was shot dead by miscreants who ran behind him. They shot him down and proceeded to fire more bullets at him as fell off his bike and laid dead in the middle of the busy market area. After committing the heinous crime, they ran away from the spot. According to a report, Yadav is the husband of Amrawati Devi, the chief of West Gundi panchayat.
Panic and chaos ensued in the area after this incident happened. As soon as the information was received, family members of the deceased reached the spot and stopped the police from taking away the body. Yadav reportedly was returning to his village when this incident happened. Amravati was reportedly shot last year and was saved after receiving timely treatment. One of the accused has been identified as Dhanji Yadav with people pelting stones at his house.
