Chilling moment head-on collision between bus and truck leaves several injured

According to reports, the accident happened late at night. A sleeper coach bus travelling from Rampur to Jaipur collided with an errant truck on NH-509 at the Mahadev intersection. Seventeen people were injured, eight of whom were referred to a higher medical centre in critical condition. The entire incident was captured on CCTV.
The truck lost control while attempting to avoid a car, veering into the path of the bus. Footage from CCTV cameras on-site shows the horrifying moment of the collision.
Witnesses say the truck driver swerved into the wrong lane in an attempt to avoid hitting the car, which led to the accident. Chaos ensued among the passengers on the bus. Upon receiving the information, the police arrived quickly. The driver was rescued by cutting open the bus window.
In the presence of the Sub-Divisional Magistrate (SDM) of Dibai, the Dibai Police conducted the rescue operation successfully. After providing first aid to the injured, eight critically injured passengers were transferred to a higher medical facility for further treatment.
The police cleared the wrecked vehicles from the road and restored traffic. The accident caused panic among residents.
