Chaos erupts in southern India as drunkards steal seized liquor during police destruction

In southern India’s Andhra Pradesh, a chaotic scene unfolded as a group of drunkards attempted to steal confiscated liquor while the police were in the process of destroying it.

The incident took place at the Dumping yard in Nallacheruvu in Guntur district on September 9.

Visuals showed as the officers began the destruction process, several individuals suddenly rushed forward, grabbed liquor bottles, and fled the scene. Despite the presence of law enforcement, some managed to escape with the stolen alcohol. Drug lords reportedly could not stop watching the destruction and even took some bottles to burn them in the presence of police.

The destruction process was slowed as the bottles were crushed with a Poklein instead of a road roller. After the superiors left, drug addicts took the opportunity to reach the site in groups and take bottles right in front of the police, who tried to stop them but were unsuccessful.

The police are now investigating to track down the individuals involved in the theft. The incident has raised concerns about the effectiveness of law enforcement during such operations, as well as the lure of illegal alcohol in the region. Authorities are reviewing security measures to prevent such incidents from happening again.
