The scene quickly turned chaotic, with individuals striking each other with sticks and fists, kicking and shoving in every direction. The atmosphere was tense, filled with loud shouts and the sound of scuffling. The crowd was in disarray, and panic spread as people scrambled to get out of the way.
According to reports, as part of the traditional wedding customs, packets of dates (chuhaare) were being distributed to the groom’s family. However, what was meant to be a customary exchange quickly spiraled out of control. Allegedly, a few guests attempted to snatch extra date packets, which sparked a dispute between the groom’s and bride’s families.

Police arrived promptly and faced resistance as the guests continued their quarrel. After substantial effort, the authorities managed to restore order. The viral video of the incident, recorded by onlookers, has since circulated widely on social media, drawing attention to the altercation. According to local police officer Chaman Singh, the disagreement arose from an attempt to grab extra date packets.
