The incident took place in Subhash Nagar of Sagar district on July 21.

Visuals showed the snake catcher firmly grasping the snake’s mouth with his hand, expertly managing the situation as the crowd of onlookers watched with a mix of amazement and trepidation.

According to reports, the snake catcher successfully captured a cobra after approximately half an hour of diligent effort. Initially, a pair of snakes was encountered in a field. When a mongoose arrived at the scene, the snakes fled and concealed themselves among the stones near a residential area. The appearance of the snakes caused a commotion among local residents. The crowd quickly gathered, and the residents contacted snake catcher Akhil for assistance.

Akhil confirmed that the pair of snakes had been meeting in the field when the mongoose approached, prompting their retreat. He managed to rescue and capture one snake, a six-foot-long cobra known for its venomous nature. The other snake escaped into the fields.
