In a shocking incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a miscreant escaped after snatching the chain of a woman standing outside her house.

The incident took place in the Mohalla Adarsh Colony of Nai Mandi Kotwali area in Muzaffarnagar district on August 16.

Visuals showed the woman standing next to the gate of her house when the miscreant approached from behind and snatched the chain from her neck before fleeing the scene.

According to reports, the police have registered a case against the unknown miscreant based on the woman’s complaint. Authorities are currently searching for the absconding suspect, utilizing CCTV footage from the area to track him down.
