Car drags motorbike for 500 meters in northern India, biker narrowly escapes
In a terrifying incident in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, a car rammed into a motorbike, dragging it for nearly 500 meters as the biker narrowly escaped severe injuries.
The incident took place in Mauranipur, Jhansi district on November 11.
Visuals showed the car pulling the motorbike along the crowded market streets, with bystanders attempting to halt the vehicle. The driver, however, reversed and attempted to flee the scene, intensifying the panic in the area.
According to reports, the injured motorcyclist, Ghulam Rashid, was rushed to a local community hospital. Police, with the aid of traffic personnel, managed to apprehend the driver and have taken both the car and the accused into custody. Rashid later shared, “After he hit my bike, he didn’t stop; he just kept driving, dragging my bike along. I was lucky to survive, but it was terrifying.”
