Bus collides with pillar in northern India, 18 Injured
In a tragic incident, 18 passengers were injured when a DTC bus collided with a pillar in northern India’s Delhi.
The incident took place in West Delhi’s Rajouri Garden area on April 11.
Visuals showed the bus driver moving the car when suddenly it hit the pillar. The bus was filled with smoke and the driver was unconscious.
According to reports, the DTC bus collided with a pillar in Delhi’s Rajouri Garden area on Thursday, injuring 18 passengers, with three in critical condition. The incident occurred after 11:30 am. The bus sustained significant damage in the collision.

Following the accident, the injured passengers were promptly taken to ESI Hospital, Basai Darapur, and three critically injured individuals were later transferred to Deen Dayal Upadhyay Hospital for continued treatment.

Upon receiving the accident report, the police promptly arrived at the scene and discovered the bus had collided with a roadside pillar, causing extensive damage and injuring passengers. The driver and conductor were also injured in the incident, but fortunately, no fatalities were reported. Fire brigade personnel and PCR vans were deployed immediately after receiving the information. An FIR has been registered at Rajouri Garden Police Station, and the crime team conducted an inspection at the site.
