Bull rescued after falling into 40-foot well following five-hour effort
A bull was rescued after falling into a 40-foot well during a clash with another bull, with a five-hour rescue operation ensuring its safe recovery.
The incident took place in Khurai city of Sagar district in Madhya Pradesh, central India on December 19.
Visuals show locals gathered around the well as one man, using a rope, descends to tie it around the bull’s neck for its rescue. Animal rescuers and locals worked together to assist in the operation, with ropes attached to a tractor to help pull the bull out. The animal was eventually freed and allowed to roam safely.
According to reports, the incident occurred when two bulls clashed, and during the struggle, one bull fell into a 40-foot deep well. Upon hearing of the accident, a crowd quickly gathered. Despite initial unsuccessful attempts, members of the Gau Raksha Sangathan were called in. They descended into the well to tie the rope around the bull, and with the help of a tractor, they managed to pull the bull out after a five-hour effort.
