The incident took place in IIT Patna, Patna district, and the video went viral on September 7.
Visuals showed a chair inside the room fully engulfed in flames. The chaos led to a stampede-like atmosphere as students rushed in panic to escape. The video depicted the young man breaking the door and advising the students to throw the burning chair down to extinguish the fire.
According to reports, the incident could have turned into a major accident, but the fire was controlled in time, and no students were harmed. While the cause of the fire remains unknown, concerns over safety arrangements have arisen following the incident.
