During a fierce storm in eastern India’s Odisha, Manas Kumar Mallik, an ambulance worker with the 108 emergency service, displayed exceptional courage and humanity by successfully transporting a critically ill patient to safety.

The incident took place at Rajnagar block of Kendrapara district and the video went viral on October 26.

Visuals showed in a stormy and rainy scene, an ambulance worker swiftly lifts an ill woman in his arms, her face contorted in pain and tears streaming down her cheeks. The rain pours heavily, soaking them both, while gusts of wind whip around. The worker, focused and determined, navigates the slippery ground as he carries her to the waiting ambulance.

According to reports, the community has rallied to commend Mallik for his bravery, with many expressing their admiration for his selfless service. As he continues to serve in the emergency response team, well-wishers are sending him blessings for a bright future, hoping that Mahaprabhu Srijagannath guides him in all his endeavors.
