Brave rescue! RPF officer saves student from near-fatal fall in southern India

In a heroic incident in southern India’s Karnataka, an RPF officer saved a student who fell from a moving train, narrowly avoiding a tragedy.
The incident took place at railway station in Udupi district on September 20.
Visuals showed the student attempting to get off the moving train onto the platform, but she slipped between the platform and the moving train. A woman officer was seen sprinting toward her, pulling the student out with all her strength. Onlookers gradually joined in, and both the officer and the student were rescued safely.
According to reports, the student reportedly fell from train no. 06602 while trying to get off the moving train. Ms. Aparna KT, a lady constable from the Konkan Railway Police Force, was recognized by the department for her bravery in saving the student.
