Bold criminals open fire in northern India: CCTV footage reveals shocking incident
In yet another alarming incident in northern India’s Delhi, gunmen opened fire outside a house. The chilling act was caught on CCTV, highlighting the rising fearlessness of criminals in the capital. Police have launched an investigation into the matter, as similar firing incidents have been reported in various parts of the city recently.
The incident took place at the Narela area of Delhi on September 24.
Visuals showed two assailants—one seated on a bike while the other repeatedly fired a pistol at a house. The residence targeted belongs to a person involved in an ongoing dispute with the criminals.
The Delhi Police have registered a case and formed multiple teams to track down the culprits. This incident follows a series of recent shootings across Delhi. In the past few days, criminals have fired shots in several locations, allegedly for extortion purposes.
In three separate incidents, shots were fired at a luxury car showroom in Naraina Vihar, a hotel in Mahipalpur, and a grocery store in Nangloi. In all cases, threatening notes from gangsters were found, pointing to a growing extortion racket in the city.
Authorities are ramping up efforts to bring those responsible to justice, but the repeated firing incidents are causing alarm among the public and raising concerns about law and order in the capital.
