Birthday celebration with gun cake-cutting sparks police investigation in central India

The incident took place at Auri Mod Kouanala in the Anpara area of the Sonbhadra district on October 3, 2023.
Visuals showed a young man using a gun to slice a cake placed on several motorcycles.
According to reports, authorities are investigating the identity of the young man, who has been portrayed on his Instagram account as a notorious criminal. Anpara Police Station Inspector Pankaj Pandey confirmed that the video is approximately one year old, but it has gained traction recently. He stated that efforts are underway to locate the individual and his associates featured in the video.
This incident follows a similar occurrence last month in Dibulgaj, where a young man was filmed cutting a cake with a sword. In that case, police issued a warning to his family and seized the motorcycle involved.
As the authorities continue to address these unlawful celebrations, the community remains on alert for such reckless behavior that glorifies violence.
