Belgian woman abandoned after days of horrific sexual assault in Pakistan

The incident took place in Islamabad city on August 14.
Visuals showed a distressed woman covering her face as she recounted the harrowing experience.
According to reports, Islamabad police received information about a woman abandoned on the roadside in Sector G-6/1-3. Upon arrival, they found a young woman in her mid-20s who claimed to be a Belgian citizen. She informed the police that she had arrived in Islamabad around six months ago, though her nationality has yet to be confirmed.
Commenting on the case, the Belgian embassy in Pakistan stated, “We’ve been informed of the tragic incident that took place today in ISB, involving a 28-year-old woman. At this stage, we have no confirmation that the victim is a Belgian citizen. We, however, offer her our full support and condemn this assault in the strongest possible terms.”
