Animal rescuers respond swiftly after monkey gets electrocuted in central India
by Ekta ChaubeyIn a distressing incident in central India’s Madhya Pradesh, a monkey was electrocuted and later treated by animal rescuers.
The incident took place in Bansagar Ward-6 of Shahdol district on September 18.
Visuals showed the monkey lying on the floor, shivering after electrocution, appearing to be in a critical condition. The animal was seen enduring severe pain, with rescuers providing emergency medical attention as it struggled from the shock.
Speaking to Newslions, Gaurav Rahli Mishra from Atal Kamdhenu Gausewa Sansthan in Shahdol, stated that the rescue operation was led by him. The injured monkey received necessary treatment with the assistance of other animal rescuers, including Vicky, Vivek, Akhilesh Bajpai, Kanha Mishra, and Ayush Yadav.
