Ambulance partially submerged in water after heavy rainfall inundates northern India
After heavy rainfall lashes northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, visuals of partially submerged ambulance come to light.
The incident took place in Mathura on July 4.
Visuals showed the vehicles p[artially submerged in the muddy rainwater.
This ambulance had to be pulled out with the help of an excavator.
Since late last night, intermittent rainfall has caused widespread waterlogging in many areas. In Mathura, the situation at the new bus stand underpass has deteriorated significantly. Children studying had to be evacuated using a tractor trolley, as school buses and ambulances became stranded there.

Despite the presence of about six children and teachers on one of the buses, adequate arrangements to address the waterlogging seem lacking from the administration. The recurring issue of Mathura transforming into a series of ponds during the rainy season persists, inconveniencing residents and visitors alike. The municipal corporation’s neglect in cleaning the drains exacerbates the problem, leading to significant difficulties for commuters.
