Almost naked Hindu man beaten by crowd in Bangladesh amid alleged genocide
A deeply disturbing occurrence took place in Bangladesh, showing an almost naked Hindu man being brutally beaten by a crowd.
The incident took place in Bangladesh on August 5.
Visuals showed a man in his underwear lying on the floor, being kicked and punched by a large crowd, his body almost being lifeless during the attack.
According to reports this incident highlights the severe violence currently being inflicted on the Hindu community in Bangladesh, which some are describing as a genocide.
The violence has escalated following the resignation and departure of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Radical opposition groups, including the pro-Jihadi Jamaat-e-Islami (JeI) and the Islamic Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP), have reportedly intensified the unrest. These groups are accused of mobilizing their supporters to transform student-led demonstrations into broader anti-government campaigns.
Amid this chaos, Hindus are facing targeted attacks. Homes and places of worship are being burned, individuals are being killed, women are abducted and raped, and children are murdered. This is reminiscent of the systematic persecution Hindus faced during the 1971 genocide.
Hasina has alleged foreign interference, particularly from the USAID, in the political turmoil. However, the immediate concern remains the safety of the Hindu community. The international community is urged to recognize this crisis and take action to protect Hindus in Bangladesh.
The mainstream media’s portrayal of these events as mere political protests fails to capture the true extent of the violence and the targeted nature of these attacks against Hindus.
