Alert RPF constable saves passenger in treacherous train situation in southern India
by Komal KashyapA vigilant RPF constable rescued a passenger while he was trying to cross the track in southern India’s Telangana.
The incident took place at Manchiryal Railway station on August 30.
Visuals showed a man standing on one side of the railway track when suddenly an RPF constable’s eye fell on him. The constable immediately instructed him to cross the track. Reacting swiftly, he demonstrated the exceptional presence of mind and leaped into action and a potential tragedy of losing a precious life was averted.
Speaking to Newslions, DCB Rama Krishna Bhukya, said that RPF constable Dinesh Chand saw a passenger named Posa Mandal from Asifabad district crossing the track to take a shortcut to platform number 01, meanwhile a passenger train was seen fast approaching towards PF No.01. The staff immediately observed the passenger’s life in danger and rushed to pull him on the platform and saved his life.
