Alert cops save life of man who slipped and fell while de-boarding moving train in northern India
Two alert Railway Protection Force (RPF) cops came to the rescue of a man who slipped and fell while getting down a moving train in northern India’s Rajasthan.
The incident is said to have reportedly happened at the Bhagat ki Kothi railway station on March 9.
Visuals from the incident showed the man losing his balance and falling off the train and onto the platform as he was getting down the moving train. The passenger fell down with a thud along with his luggage. The cop, identified as Additional Superintendent of Police (ASI) Rajendra Bishnoi, was seen rushing to his aid and pulling him away from the train.
According to a report, the passenger, who hailed from Odisha, was travelling to Jodhpur from Jaisalmer via the Ranikhet express. Named Viral Sahu, he had fallen asleep. He was about to get down at the Bhagat ki Kothi station but had fallen asleep. He awoke right at the moment when the train had started and was about to depart the station. That’s when I fell down while trying to hastily get down from the moving vehicle.
It was learnt that constable Manoj also helped the RPF cop in this.
