Aggressive elephant in southern India attack men on bike

The incident took place in Muthanga of Wayanad district and the video went viral on June 21.
The video showed an intense scene as an elephant charged aggressively towards two men who were commuting on bike. The massive animal rapidly came towards the men, forcing them to abandon their bike and flee in sheer panic to save their lives. The visuals showed the fear of the other passengers as well who were in a car and were capturing the incident.
According to reports, this is not the first case that took place in the state. The forest department has been struggling to tackle the issue of elephants attacking the locals and are working towards safeguarding both human and wildlife in the region.
