AC blast sparks major fire in northern India, property reduced to ashes

An air conditioning unit explosion triggered a severe fire in a flat in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh leaving the property completely destroyed.

The incident took place at gaur city -1 in Greater Noida west on June 13.

Visuals showed the charred remains of the flat, with blackened walls and all possessions reduced to ash.

The fire broke out in flat number 18 on the ground floor of Tower-C, which houses the “Always Be Fit” yoga center operated by Rekha Singh. Singh teaches yoga to women and conducts dance and Zumba classes for children. The blaze erupted around 10 AM on Thursday morning due to the AC blast, causing panic among the society residents.

Fortunately, the fire brigade arrived promptly and managed to bring the flames under control, preventing further damage.
