Uncertainty looms fate of 70-year-old man, dilapidated wall collapses in northern India
by ShravyaIn a tragic incident, a dilapidated wall was seen falling into rubble as it fell on a 70-year-old man sitting underneath the wall in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.
The heartbreaking incident was recorded on CCTV camera in Kakarauli village of Muzaffarnagar district on May 7.
The visuals of the CCTV camera showed a painful accident where an old man can be seen sitting on a chair outside his house and suddenly the wall can be seen falling into debris on him. Later nearby residents can be seen running towards the man and rescuing him.
According to the reports, the victim is identified as Haji Nafees Qureshi. Due to the wall collapse, Haji Nafees was injured. The injured person was immediately taken to the hospital, where he died during treatment at midnight. There has been a wave of mourning in the family due to the death of the old man.
