Man inadvertently crashed his new car after blessing ceremony in southern India

The incident took place in Srimushnam Phoovara Swamy temple in Cuddalore district on May 6.
CCTV footage features a new car parked in front of the temple suddenly moving forward and entering the temple. A man who was speaking to the car owner can be seen dragged along with the car.
According to the reports, It is said that a man named Sudhakar had come to a temple in Srimushnam area of Cuddalore district to worship his new car. After the puja of the new vehicle, as per tradition, the driver had to move the vehicle slowly in front of the temple but the car owner stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake. Because of this the car suddenly went and collided with a pillar of the temple.
The incident happened in the blink of an eye and the devotees in the temple complex ran screaming. Sudhakar, who was driving the car, escaped unhurt in the accident. However, the front part of the car was completely damaged.
The Srimushnam police, who came to know about this, recovered the accident car and interrogated Sudhakar.
