Man gets electrocuted after crossing inundated road in southern India

A shocking incident has come to the fore of a forty-year-old man getting electrocuted after he lost balance and tried to catch an electric pole on a flooded road, in southern India’s Telangana.

This incident happened in the Bahadurpura area in Hyderabad on May 7.

Visuals showed a 40-year-old fruit vendor crossing a flooded road, losing his balance, leaning on an electric pole and getting electrocuted.

As per a report, the child was identified as Fakru. Initially, passersby ignored him, assuming he was drunk, but later informed the Bahadurpura Police and placed him in an ambulance for treatment. However, doctors declared him dead on arrival.

The incident was recorded on the CCTV camera installed on the footpath.
