A pet dog unleashed an attack on a little girl who was riding her bicycle at a residential society in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh.

This incident took place at the Ajnara Integrity Society in Ghaziabad on April 24.

Visuals showed the girl riding her bicycle when the dog suddenly attacks her. The canine had a leash around its neck and its owner was also present when it launched the shock attack on the kid. It seemingly bit the girl’s left arm and a woman, who spotted this, came running at the dog in a bid to scare it away. The dog tried to attack her as well and she escaped in the nick of time. The little girl was then seen hurriedly leaving her bicycle and rushing over to the woman who also had another child with her. Meanwhile, the lady who had the dog’s leash took it away from the area. A security official also intervened as the dog was taken away.

In Raj Nagar Extension, a pet dog from the neighborhood attacked the daughter and one-year-old son of an innocent woman, causing severe injuries to the daughter’s hand and leaving it bleeding. The woman filed a complaint with the Nandgram police, who have registered a case and are now working to identify and take action against the dog’s owner. Namita Chauhan, residing in Ajnara Integrity Society of Rajnagar Extension, recounted the incident on April 24 when the society’s pet dog attacked her daughter, Vanya Chauhan, inflicting serious bites on her hand. Additionally, the same dog also attacked her one-year-old son, Dev. Namita Chauhan identified the dog’s owner as a resident of flat number 108, H block of the society and highlighted that the dog was not wearing a muzzle during the attacks. The incident caused panic among the society residents. Namita Chauhan filed a complaint at Nandgram police station, urging action against the dog’s owner and the removal of the dog from the society premises. ACP Nandgram, Ravi Kumar Singh, confirmed the registration of the case and assured further action would be taken upon locating the owner based on the flat number provided.
