International cruise ship arrives at port in southern India for the first time
An international cruise ship, known as ‘The World’ made its first visit to southern India’s Andhra Pradesh.
The luxury cruise ship arrived at the Visakhapatnam International Cruise Terminal (VICT) in Visakhapatnam on April 28.
Visuals showed the luxury cruise ship’s arrival at the port. The grand structure arrived at the port and was docked at the state-of-the-art facility of the VICT for which Rs 96 crore (USD 1,15,07,577.60). Global tourists as a result, will get a chance to explore the city of Visakhapatnam and pay visits to the historical spots and the beaches among other places. The luxury cruise ship carried 80 passengers.
Constructed with an investment of Rs 96 Crore, VICT boasts state-of-the-art facilities tailored to accommodate some of the world’s most prestigious cruise ships, including The World. The terminal is dedicated to delivering top-notch services and amenities, enhancing the overall passenger experience, and fostering the growth of tourism in the area.
