Jyoti Amge, the world’s smallest living woman, cast her vote in western India’s Maharashtra as the Lok Sabha elections began in the country.
Amge cast her vote at a polling station in Nagpur on April 19.
Visuals showed Amge at the polling station. Seated on the lap of a woman, she was seen showing her inked finger after having cast her vote. Later on, she also was seen posing with her Aadhar card outside the polling station.
Amge also shared that she has voted along with her whole family and appealed to all those eligible to cast their votes in the general elections. For the uninitiated, Jyoti Amge has been officially recognized as the smallest living woman at a height of just 63 cm.
Speaking to the media stationed outside the polling booth, she said, “I would like to share that I have voted today with my entire family,” further appealing to others to also come forward and cast their votes.
