Cop saves life of man through CPR in northern India
A cop saved the life of a man by administering him Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) in a timely move, in northern India’s Uttarakhand.
This incident happened in Muni Ki Reti police station premises in Tehri Garhwal district on September 18.
Visuals showed the timely action taken by the cops which helped save the life of victim Rajat Gupta’s life. Seated in the passenger’s seat of a car, the man lost consciousness and cop, Suresh Kumar, was seen trying to resuscitate the man. The 45-year-old’s car was stopped at the checkpoint where both cops Sanjay Kumar and Home Guard Suresh Kumar were present and they instantly acted upon learning about the man. While one man started to breathe air into Rajat’s lungs, Suresh continuously pressed his chest in an attempt to revive him.
After a while, his efforts finally bore fruit as Rajat regained his consciousness. He was then driven away from the area and taken to the hospital for treatment. The 45-year-old’s family members appreciated this effort.
