September 7, 2023
A leopard was captured after it strayed near the Narasimhaswamy temple in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh.
This incident happened in Tirumala on September 7.
Visuals showed the captured leopard inside a cage. It glared at the people outside and roared while one was standing close to the cage. Later, it was taken away and the cage was covered. The cage was then carried from the area where the animal was caught and put behind a vehicle which took the animal away.
According to a report, the wild animal was spotted four days ago and authorities didn’t waste much time in setting up a cage to capture it. It was eventually caught on the walkway of Tirumala, making it the fifth such case in 75 days.
