Elephant launches attack in agricultural field, claim lives of two farmers in southern India

In a tragic incident, an elephant strike was seen at an agricultural field that claimed the lives of two farmers in southern India’s Andhra Pradesh.

The incident took place in Harijanwada village on August 30.

As per reports, an elephant strike that happened on the agricultural field caused panic amongst the villagers after it claimed the lives of two people. Selvi (48) and Venkatesh (52) who were working on the agricultural field were suddenly attacked by a lone elephant who died after succumbing to the injuries.

The west CI official Ravi Prakash Reddy and forest officials rushed to the spot for further investigation.
