Landslide blocks national highway in northern India

A massive landslide took place in northern India’s Jammu and Kashmir which led to the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway being blocked.

This happened at the T2 tunnel near Keela Morh in Ramban district on August 6.

Scary visuals showed the landslide taking place in the area. The rubble slid down from the hilly area and landed right on the road beneath. It was as if the rubble was raining down from the slope and it happened for quite some time. The whole area was expectedly covered with a cloud of dust as officials stood at a distance.

According to a report, the 270 km highway was completely blocked and the cops had issued an advisory for people to not travel on this road.
Later, traffic was restored after the rubble had been cleared.
