Man on scooter snatches phone, drags woman along road in broad daylight

This incident occurred in Ludhiana city, in northern India’s Punjab on January 26.
Visuals show the woman walking on the road while talking on her phone. A man on a scooter slows down as he approaches her. Suddenly, he snatches her phone and attempts to flee but the brave woman grabs a hold of his hand. She is dragged for 30 meters before he speeds away, causing her to collide with another vehicle and lose her grip on him.
According to sources, the woman was returning home from work when she was robbed. The police promptly arrived at the spot and took her to hospital for medical treatment. Officials reported that the woman had sustained some injuries.
