On January 11, a touching moment was captured when Gauri Gupta, a housewife, called an abandoned monkey to her window. As soon as she did, the little monkey, munching on a flatbread, quickly approached her. The little monkey obeys her and comes down to her window immediately after she asks him to.
Gauri worshiped the monkey by showering him with flowers and marking his forehead with a sectarian symbol. The little monkey sits on Gauri’s shoulders, showing affection by nuzzling her cheeks. She also offered him food, which he gratefully accepted and ate with visible enjoyment. The monkey moved in and out of the window and kitchen, while Gauri affectionately pampered him, treating him as if he were her own child.
In an interview with Newslions, Gauri explained that the baby monkey, whom she has lovingly named “Bajrangi,” has been visiting her home for the past month. A passionate animal lover, Gauri not only cares for a cat at home but also feeds the street dogs in her neighborhood, embracing all animals as part of her family. She spoke warmly of her love for caring for innocent creatures, offering them the affection and attention they deserve.
