A captivating visual from a temple has captured the attention of social media, featuring a wild bear seemingly hugging a Shivling.
The incident occurred at Chandi Mata Mandir in Bagbahara, a town in the Mahasamund district of Chhattisgarh. The video went viral on January 3.
The visual shows the bear wrapping its arms around the Shivling, resting its head on the idol, and gently moving its paws across the structure. The Shivling, intricately designed with Lord Shiva’s face and resembling the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirling in Ujjain became the center of the bear’s affectionate display.
The Shivling is a symbol of the Hindu god Shiva. It represents Shiva’s consciousness and is often the main image in Shiva temples.
