CNG leak sparks massive fire at petrol pump, vehicle completely burnt

Fire broke out in a loading tempo truck while filling CNG, due to leakage in the nozzle. A major accident was averted due to the swift action of people.

This incident occurred at a petrol pump in northern India’s Rajasthan, in Jodhpur city, on January 12.

Visuals showed a dense smoke coming out of the petrol pump. People are seen running in panic, watching the smoke. A man is trying to control the fire using a fire extinguisher. The truck has been completely burnt to ashes.

According to sources, the fire brigade team reached the spot quickly but by then the fire had been brought under control. Due to the alertness of the people, a major accident was avoided.
