Playtime gone wrong: toddler rescued by firefighters after head gets trapped in steel pot
A toddler in southern India’s Kerala was rescued by the Mukkam Fire Rescue Team after a steel pot became stuck on her head during playtime in the kitchen.
The incident occurred in Mukkam of Kozhikode district on November 25.

Visuals showed the firefighters meticulously cutting the pot to free the child without causing harm. Despite crying out of fear, was safely freed from the predicament.
The toddler age is two-and-a-half-year-old. When the family’s attempts to remove the pot failed, they sought help from the fire department. Under the leadership of Station Officer M. Abdul Gafoor, the rescue team used specialized tools, including shears and cutters, to carefully remove the pot without any injuries.
The operation involved a committed group of firefighters, including Senior Fire Officer N. Rajesh and team members P. T. Sreejesh, M. C. Sajith Lal, A. S. Pradeep, V. Salim, P. Nias, and Y. P. Sharafudheen. Both the child and her family were greatly relieved and thankful for the team’s successful efforts.
