Wedding vows on hold: Groom tracks down thief who stole cash from his garland

The incident took place in Meerut district and the video went viral on November 25.
Visuals showed the groom holding onto a moving truck as he desperately tried to recover the stolen note. When the driver refused to stop, the groom skillfully entered the driver’s cabin through the window and grabbed him. The thief attempted to escape, but a biker quickly blocked the path by dragging his two-wheeler in front of the minitruck. In a fit of rage, the groom punched the thief repeatedly. Soon, family members and wedding guests joined in the chase, taking matters into their own hands and thrashing the thief for the theft.
According to reports, the groom was making his way to the wedding venue on horseback, with a cash garland draped around his neck, when the thief snatched a note. Without missing a beat, the groom jumped off his horse and pursued the thief, refusing to let the theft slide.
