Update: Rohtash Chaudhary shatters boundaries with 704 Push-Ups to break Pakistan’s Guinness world record

In an awe-inspiring feat in western India’s Gujarat, Rohtash Chaudhary shattered Pakistan’s Guinness World Record by completing 704 one-legged push-ups with a 27.875 kg weight within an hour.

The record-breaking event took place at the Town Hall in Gandhinagar district on November 10

Visuals from the event showed Chaudhary executing push-ups with remarkable determination as a 27 kg weight rested on his back. Enthusiastic spectators cheered him on, and the hall resounded with applause when he achieved the milestone. Afterward, Chaudhary stood proudly with the Indian flag, basking in his achievement as he received awards and recognition amid a jubilant atmosphere.
Speaking to Newslions, he remarked, “I practiced daily for four hours.” His journey began in 2004 as a boxer, but a back injury forced him to pivot towards yoga and strength training during a two-month bed rest. Reflecting on his challenges, he noted that the sympathy he received inspired him to transform his weaknesses into strengths. Despite facing personal hardships, including the loss of his parents, Chaudhary remained resolute in his commitment to serve his nation through his achievements.

In 2015, he gained recognition for completing 10,200 push-ups in 7.5 hours, dedicating this record to Iron Man Patel. Over the years, he has continued to break records, including a notable achievement in 2016, where he completed 51 push-ups in one minute while carrying 36.6 kg.

Looking to the future, Chaudhary aims to break the USA’s record of 1,100 push-ups with a 40-pound weight, aspiring to dedicate this accomplishment to Indian soldiers. He also encourages the youth to prioritize hard work and fitness, advising them to avoid steroids in bodybuilding and to incorporate healthy routines into their lives.
