Passenger slips while boarding moving train in northern India, officers avert disaster
In a heroic act at a railway station in northern India’s Uttar Pradesh, two Government Railway Police (GRP) officers saved a passenger who slipped while attempting to board a moving train.

The incident took place at Deen Dayal Upadhaya railway station in Chandauli district on November 19.


Visuals showed the passenger losing his balance and falling between the platform and the moving train as it started to pick up speed. GRP personnel, displaying swift reflexes, rushed to the spot and pulled him to safety, preventing a potentially fatal accident.

According to reports, the passenger was trying to board the 12370 Kumbh Express at the time. The timely intervention not only showcased the bravery of the officers but also highlighted the preparedness of the Railway Protection Force to ensure passenger safety.
