Owner’s bravery foils armed robbery attempt at jewellery store in northern India
by ShravyaIn a startling incident in northern India’s Haryana, the owner’s courageous response thwarted an attempted armed robbery at a jewellery shop.
The incident took place at a jewellery store named Daksh in Sector 35 of Faridabad district on November 14.
Visuals showed the moment as two masked men entered the shop, brandishing guns and pointing them at the employees and customers. The miscreants assaulted the security guard, but the store owner, Pankaj Makkar, bravely fought back. Despite their efforts to intimidate him, even attempting to strike him with the butt of a pistol, Makkar’s resistance forced the robbers to flee, abandoning their plan.
According to reports, the incident occurred around 5 PM. Police have since launched an investigation and are actively searching for the suspects involved.
