Additional footage showed families fleeing, carrying their belongings, as militants targeted homes, prompting villagers to seek safety. Later, a display of sophisticated weaponry, seized from the militants, included assault rifles, an RPG, and other heavy arms.
According to reports, the confrontation occurred in Jakurador Karong, within the violence-stricken Borobekra sub-division, where militants launched an assault, firing on a Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) camp and torching nearby structures. Two CRPF personnel sustained injuries, with one reported critically wounded. The fierce gunfight lasted 40-45 minutes before security forces brought the situation under control, recovering the bodies of 11 militants along with seized arms and ammunition.
