In a shocking incident in southern India’s Karnataka, a man allegedly drove his car over a sleeping dog without attempting to honk or brake.

The incident took place in the Bellandur area of Bengaluru City on October 30.

Visuals showed the heartbreaking moment as the dog lay asleep on the road while a white sedan started moving, ultimately driving over the animal. The car continued on without slowing down, leaving the dog motionless.According to reports, a case of animal cruelty was registered by the municipal corporation with the local police station on October 31. The incident occurred around 9:36 pm, in front of the Vaishnavi-Navi building. The authorities are currently investigating the matter as they search for the suspect responsible.
